“Ghost Rising from the Grave DVD”
Create a Grave Ghost which rises out of an apparent hole in your Halloween Graveyard, using simple Window or Plexiglass, and playing the effects DVD on a small TV. The result is an apparent head-shoulders-torso of ghost rising out of the ground. It is a very effective “peppers ghost” illusion, easy to set-up inside or out. The original version was released in 2002, and has helped 10,000+ people learn the art of Pepper’s Ghost reflected image illusion. Use the technique with your own created videos if you want to.

“Spooky Ghosts DVD Set”
Spooky Ghosts is a compilation of Jon Hyers original effects work in the beginning years of Outrageous Media, 14 Different Ghost and Ghoul Effects for TV in a Window or Video Projected Ghost Effects for Home Decorators or Haunted Houses. Ghosts include, Actor Based ghosts, CG ghosts, Cell Animated Ghost, and a Prop Ghost from the Ghost Machine’s Series. Effects look somewhat Hologram-like in a window at night.??The videos are meant for window display, not sitting ’round a TV and watching for the fun of it. Set a TV in the window, close the curtains around the TV casing, and ghostly illusions result. ??History: Spooky Ghosts DVD, began as the Friendly Ghost VHS tape, which contained just ONE actor based ghost effect, created EXCLUSIVELY with Analog Video Equipment, set up in a proprietary multi-camera, tunnel of mirrors superimposition system to result in a glowing, fuzzy ghost. NO computer or “MAC FREEWARE” was used to create the original Friendly Ghost tape, which was created in just under 10 hours of labor, start to finish, at the cost of $100. Just under 600,000 copies of this original video were sold between 1998 and 2003, with the aid of Halloween Stores all across the US, and the Johnson Smith Company’s Things you Never New Existed catalog, turning Hyers $100 investment into an instant Halloween Success, which has given rise to many more products and Hyers a regular speaker, and National Famous Haunted Attraction Effects authority. ??Hyers has created several other Ghost Effects in the late 1990’s – 2003, many of these were also sold as singles. In 2004, after Hyers Produced his highly successful Ghost Machines How To Video, Spooky Ghosts DVD was created to replace 10 or so separately sold VHS tapes, along with a few Adobe Aftereffects ‘Glow-a-fied’ versions of some actor effects, combined with a Ghost Scene from Hyers Haunting of North 3rd Street film, and some Cell animations to result in the present 14 Chapter DVD. ??The effects are simplistic compared to the Virtual 3D Video Projection effects Hyers makes today. But customers keep asking for them, because they LIKE the COMMON HAMMER, are tools that can be used to create a cheap, simple effect.

The Ghost Projector Kit is one of Jon Hyers aka Outrageous Media’s first products, which was made nationally famous by THE JOHNSON SMITH COMPANY, Things You never Knew Existed, who Jon thanks ETERNALLY for their help in getting Hyers very well known in the world of Halloween Products. ??This simple and inexpensive kit, contains the PLANS and one Visual Effects DVD which you can use to create a video projector out of an OLD TV set. Got an Old TV? Don’t toss it, as most TUBE TVs output 10 times more light than a Flat Screen TV, and a MUCH MUCH sharper picture than ANY flat screen/HD TV does when playing a normal DVD. ??Users are free to make their own videos to play into this cool, cheap, video projector. The kit comes with the necessary instructions, lens, how-to and effects DVDs.?NOTE: IMPORTANT!!! In 2008, a number of customers asked us to add some of the ghost and ghoul effects from our other DVDs, into the effects DVD for this kit. NOW this kit features 10+ effects, instead of just one-as is pictured in this youtube. This was done by customer request, NOT as en effort by us to sell the same DVD under two product names. Ghost Machines 2 is hosted by Visual Effects artist Jon Hyers and Actor Steve McKillen. Ghost Machines shows a number of interesting illusions for creating ghost effects, for Haunts, Theme Parks etc. It’s production in 2005, predates Jon Hyers invention of Virtual 3D – large scale video effects. However many of the Ghost Machines series are very effective, and smaller in scale and cost to stage. Some of the simple effects will lead to really cool effects….
“3D Shadow Light DVD”

“VRFX TOOLS DVD”
VRFX Tools, are Special Effects clips on DVD, for use with TVS and Videprojectors for Haunted House, Theme Parks, Home Haunters, Stage Theater. Virtual Reality Images, of a wide range of images, appear on looped tracks. TVs of different sizes can be used for various effects, behind walls, windows, lab tables, and more. Storms out windows for example are easily done. High Voltage for Frankenstein’s arc, or fire, are also easy to do with a TV. This 4 DVD set, contains 66 effects on 3 DVDs, and a 4h DVD which is a detailed HOW TO video on using TVS for virtual effects. This includes a short movie, called the Adventures of Frank Ann Stein, which is one of creator Jon Hyers’ trademark examples of High Quality Movie style lighting for an interesting educational scene.

Virtual 3D techniques, which is Projected Video that appears to be 3D without the use of any glasses, is one of the primary parts of this 2 Hour DVD. It also covers flat wall projection, ceiling projection, OutDoor Hayride/Woods effects, sets, lighting, and fine tuning of the projected image.
